The instructions for the Arduino VS1053 MP3 audio shield do not work.
The SFEMP3Shield.h library is causing an error. I don't know if that's the only reason, but at any rate, nothing can be heard.

It's a shame it didn't work out for you. The error description is unfortunately a bit sparse to delve deeper into the analysis 😉
