Die Karte wurde bei den späten AT Board für die Mouse und USB Schnittstelle verwendet. Besonders ASUS und PCChips hat diese Art verwendet. Sie kann als Vorläufer des ATX Anschlusses gesehen werden, erstmals versuchte man einheitliche Anschlusskarten herzustellen.

Facts

ATX Form Card war eine kurzer zwischen Schritt vom AT zum ATX.
Die Hersteller wollten genormte Schnittstellen um Kosten zu spare.
Nur noch ein großer Pfosten Stecker auf dem Board über den USB, IRDA und PS/2 abgedeckt wurden.
Bis auf ein paar Bauteile zum Entstören wird hier nicht viel benötigt.

Soldering points

Check the solder joints on the ICs again carefully, preferably with a microscope or magnifying glass, for short circuits and contact. Measure with a multimeter or continuity tester.

For small solder joints on through-hole components, use flux if possible; it makes life easier and increases the quality of the connection.
