The board started after a bit of a jump-start with contact spray. The Award BIOS is rubbish, but we'll surely find a better solution. Eine 386DX40 Mainboard mit platz für einen CoPro der in diesem Fall auch bestückt ist. 8 Simm Steckplätze ermöglichen es bis zu 32MB Speicher zu adressieren. 128KB Cache ist sehr reichlich für ein 386er Board. Das Board ist wirkt sehr aufgeräumt, alle ISA Steckplätze sind 16 Bit. Mal schauen wie es mit der Performance aussieht. …

Nun habe ich auch einen 386DX40 auf einem MSI Mainboard. Das Mainboard hatte einen Batterieschaden und wenn ich mir das abgeknippste Beinpaar ansehe wohl einen kurzgeschlossenen Tantal Condensator. Der Schaden an der Dinbuchse für die Tastatur wurde mit zwei Kabelbrücken bereits behoben, das Board funktioniert einwandfrei. Was mich einlädt mal ein paar tests zu machen. …
