Ein kleine ESP32 C3 Board zum Preis 04/2024 von rund ~5,40€ ohne Versand. Kommt mit wenig Platz aus und hat eine externe Antenne. Zusätzlich findet sich ein LIPO Lader auf dem Board.

GPIO2, GPIO8 and GPIO9 werden dazu verwendet verschiedene Boot-Modi anzusteuern, dies sollte bei der Beschaltung diese IO Pins berücksichtigt werden.

Keine verlöteten Pins
Ich habe die Version ohne verlötete Pins bestellt, um Verbindungen direkt an den ESP löten zu können. Wer nicht löten mag, sollte eine Version bestellen bei denen die Pins schon befestigt sind.
Conclusion
Wirklich kleines Board mit allem was man für IOT braucht. Ich persönlich hätte die GPIO2, GPIO8 and GPIO9 auf der Rückseite als Lötpads zur Verfügung gestellt und andere Pins nach aussen geführt.
